Responsibility, rights, best practices, resources, and expectations can be different depending on the role you play in the life of a student with a disability.  For many, the question is “where do I go to get the information or help that I need?” As more students are being identified as students with disabilities, the requirements of those who service them grows greater each year.  

 

At Legacies, we recognize that all students with disabilities deserve an intentional education provided by educators who are aware of their specific needs and parents informed of their rights and procedural safeguards. Legacies offers professional development to Administrators, Teachers, Paraprofessional and Non-Certificated staff. We focus on developing trainings and programs that fit your school culture and align with IDEA and ESSA. As well, we offer workshops for parents and serve as advocates in school related meetings.
